Hoping to take your blog’s imagery to the next level? Just want to figure out how to shoot your dinner in the last rays of light before the sun sets? For our first food photography course, we’ll be focusing on the basics: light, composition and color.
Come spend a Sunday afternoon at The Farm with Guy Ambrosino and Kate Winslow of And We Ate, who have photographed a number of cookbooks, including “Coming Home to Sicily,” “The Pumpkin Pie Spice Cookbook” and the forthcoming “Agricola Cookbook,” as well as many of the photos on our website!
Guy will lead us in a hands-on photography course and discuss shooting with natural light, composing within the frame, and simply how to get the most out of your camera. After shooting, we’ll sit down over a lunch and look through and critique the photos we’ve just made. Make sure to bring your SLR, point-and-shoot and/or iPhone—whatever you like to use best. Bring a tripod if you have one, not required though!
