Its Spring! Our half of the Earth is tilting back towards the sun, the trees and wildflowers are bursting with color, and we are aching for fresh veggies. We have prepared our soil, raised our beds, ordered our seeds, and started our transplants.
Join us for our Spring Planting as we get both seeds and transplants into the soil. We will review the basics of fertility, soil prep, crop rotation, and get some dirt under our fingernails as we plant the crops that will be used in the Farm Kitchen. You will learn everything you need to know to go from bare soil to densely planted garden of nutritious roots, fruits, and shoots.
This workshop is lead by Jamie Sims - Farmer and Kitchen Garden expert who will be able to answer any questions you have about your garden. Light lunch will be provided by The Farm Cooking School kitchen.
